One of us is a cigar stand, and one of us is a lovely blue incandescent guillotine.

Like a sexy eagle falling out of the blue sky, the universe unfolds as it should.

What I mean by that is this: I got a job.

As of Monday (or Tuesday, depending on inspections) I will be working for my buddy, Elton, at the new coffee shop he is opening. I'm pretty excited about it. Not just a coffee shop, Java Dave's will also be host to the campus-organized "Open Mic Nights" in which students have the opportunity to perform (whatever that should entail) and read poetry.

In short, I'm pretty excited.
